The LA High Romans playing at home for this last regular season and quest for keep its record unblemished. That dream was shattered once the sun ducked behind the home stands and game was called with 3:15 left on the clock due to Sun Down rule resulting in 31-31 tie. Hawkins was all smiles and celebrating their accomplishment due to coming back from being down 31-15 at one point in game. The Romans were left with a sour taste in their mouth that will only last for a day because with the tie the still won the Coliseum league title. So selection Saturday for playoff seeds will still have them as top 3 seed.

This was the first win for Dorsey against is rival since 2011, to have bragging rights at least for a year. Crenshaw had a chance to comeback but just too little too late. Their quarterback the young Daiyan Henly was looking down field for his targets but when he saw daylight he used his feet to break contain.
