Bristol, CT – The co-host of the ESPN2’s “First Take” for two and a half years has been named the newest anchor of ESPN’s “SportsCenter. Cari Champion is ready to Bet on herself, and move her career forward.

The road of a broadcast journalism is a constant Bet on yourself. Champion has always bet on her self with a strong support team. Getting her start in small market as a reporter in the field back East which was the first bet, then over and over moving to bigger markets.  Switch over to Women’s Tennis for the Tennis Channel was another bet that paid off having the opportunity to cover Williams sisters and many other.  Then we all know the story from here after Jamie Horowitz the then VP at ESPN, hired the chipper, witty, fun loving professional with that infectious smile.
