WSU Hits Big in Vegas

Under the lights The Cougars shined bright winning 35-27. Washington State stroke first blood and never trailed from start to finish. Connor Halliday threw for 378 yards and 4 TD’s with a long of 81. The DB’s for UNLV were a step behind all night as Halliday hit 9 different targets. Carl Winston lead the Cougars on ground with 58 yards on 12 Carries. Winston picked up 39 of 58 yards in first half on 7 Carries to establish small running game. WR Gabe Marks lead the team with 126 yards Receiving with 1 TD. The Defense was active as well Travis Long had 2 Sacks, 5 Solo & 4 Assist tackles. So the plane ride back to Pullman was joyful & full of positive energy.
