Boulder, CO- Travis Hunter did not disappoint in his first full game back, proving that he is the ultimate cheat code in college football and reinserting himself as a front runner for the Heisman Trophy. The code led to a Colorado 34- 23 victory over visiting Cincinnati.

Hunter and Shedeur Sanders were *NSYNC all night as the Buffalos dropped Cincinnati defenders all night long . Sanders got off to a perfect start completing 15 of 15 passes to start the game finishing 25-30 for 323 yards and two touchdowns both to Hunter, and adding another touchdown on the ground. Sanders play should have him in the Heisman conversation especially with the numbers he’s putting up.

When asked how he felt about not being in the conversation. Sanders said,“ I hope Travis wins because he is the best player in college football and when he wins it’s like I won because I threw him the ball “ as he laughed.

Let’s say you haven’t seen Travis Hunter play this year but if you understand numbers and numbers don’t lie. Hunter is leading receiver on his team with 60 catches for 757 yards and eight touchdowns. On Saturday he had nine catches for 153 yards. On defense he leads team with seven pass deflections and is tied for the lead with two interceptions. No one in college football is doing what Travis Hunter is doing he has to be the clear club favorite to win the Heisman Trophy this season.

Run game making strides for Colorado looking upwards as Isaiah Augustave proved he can be the main back Saturday night as he rush for 91 yards on 22 carries and a score putting together the best outing for a back since Coach Prime has taken over in Colorado. Dallan Hayden also added 39 yards on 10 carries .As the Buffalos rushed the ball 40 times to 30 passing attempts against Cincinnati which is a first in Coach Primes two seasons.

“Our line has taken it personal to make sure we run the ball well after the criticism has taken all season,” said Coach Prime.

The most impressive play of the night came from Jimmy Horn Jr who took a short pass 57 yards to the house and was called back do to a plenty after Horn Jr threw up the peace sign on the way to the endzone. I know it doesn’t count but it was amazing to see his speed on display .

Cincinnati had no answers for the Buffalos all night. The score looks a lot closer than it actually was .

Coach prime was asked about the Heisman Trophy voting and if he thought the past winners and past nominated players should be the decision makers. “I thought that would be creative and the same for the Pro football Hall of Fame. To allow the guys who actually played the game vote in new winners of the prestigious honors”.
