Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Sparks 10-0 now after defeating Chicago Sky 98-85. Nneka Ogwumike recorded her 6th double-double of the season finishing the game with 27 points and 12 rebounds. This team is finding a way to win, no matter who number is called.

Candace Parker had little of a breakout game being the second leading scorer with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists on 50% shooting from the field. The Sparks had five players scored in double figures, with four of five starters in that group.

A bright spot for the Sky was guard Cappie Pondexter 20 points to lead her team. Center Erika de Souza crashed the boards pulling down 12 boards in defeat. The Sparks jumped out to 11 point lead by halftime on the Sky 48-37.

The Los Angeles Sparks will host the Phoenix Mercury this Friday 17th at Staples Center. They will have to get past Brittney & Phoenix before facing off the Minnesota Lynx who are also perfect thus far this season.
