#4 Duke Blue Devils Smash SC on Cooper’s Return
Noon Showdown was set for the visiting #4 Duke (10-0) to face off against the Host Women of Troy (3-7) 75-60 Final. It was Michael Cooper’s return to the SC bench after a one game suspension issued by SC for using an ineligible player at practice. Sr. Guard Chelsea Gray lead all scorers with 18 points, 10 rebounds & 5 steals. Blue Devils took a strong 9 point lead by half and had little trouble in second half. The West Coast trip treated Devils good, so plane ride home had to be a blast. Cassie Harberts led SC with 17 points & 4 rebounds for Women of Troy.

UC Davis Crusies Past CSU Bakersfield in Victory
On a day when little could go wrong for Aggies (5-4)which were on pace for their third win in a row 71-59 victory over Roadrunners (2-12). So. Forward Sydnee Fipps lead the team with 15 points on 6-of-7 from field. Fipps aggressiveness all over the court and she left it all out there. Sr. Guard Blair Shinoda #10 (Featured) on a nice drive to the basket for 2 of her points this afternoon. UC Davis returns to The Pavilion to host Washington on Friday at 7pm.
Women of Troy Classic
Cebrina Johnson #23 CSU Bakersfield with quick hands to tie up Sydnee Fipps #14 UC Davis. Fipps had a team high 15 points, 2 Rebounds, 3 Assist, 1 Block & Steal, that lead to her being named to All-Tournament Team this weekend.
WSU Hits Big in Vegas
Under the lights The Cougars shined bright winning 35-27. Washington State stroke first blood and never trailed from start to finish. Connor Halliday threw for 378 yards and 4 TD’s with a long of 81. The DB’s for UNLV were a step behind all night as Halliday hit 9 different targets. Carl Winston lead the Cougars on ground with 58 yards on 12 Carries. Winston picked up 39 of 58 yards in first half on 7 Carries to establish small running game. WR Gabe Marks lead the team with 126 yards Receiving with 1 TD. The Defense was active as well Travis Long had 2 Sacks, 5 Solo & 4 Assist tackles. So the plane ride back to Pullman was joyful & full of positive energy.
