Price MLK Showcase 2013

Price High School on Martin Luther King Holiday. It was a great day of basketball for the fans who filled the crowd through out the day. Even with two other big showcase around town. This day was one for the history books. The host team Price Knights (18-3) knocked off Crenshaw Cougars (11-7) 85-70. The spotlight was bright and the stars for Price were ready to shine. Chance Murray turned in his normal solid performance leading the scoring charge with 20 pts. Guard Chris Martin was a big key in tonight’s win leading the team in assists and helping out big with his smothering defense. Coach Lynch turned up the fire on his big man to get back fast on defense every possession. During the second half  #0 Kwuan Guerrero (featured above), #44DeAndre Johnson knew if they didn’t get back on defense fast, they would be going to the bench in a New York minute. The bigs really stepped up and grew a little bit in the process.  Overall Crenshaw was an athletic, fast opponent that ran into an equally as fast team tonight. Price’s next game will be against Parker High School (San Diego, Ca)
